Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, country-pop musician and songwriter after she appeared in the TV show One Tree Hill. She played Alex during three of the last four seasons. The show showcased her first release as a country artist which helped her debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed in the Top Ten. In the final decade of her career, she made appearances at Dancing with the Stars. The self-doubting Voices came out in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native that was raised in the country genre. While she was pursuing the acting and recording professions, her debut on screen came in the independent horror film Dead/Undead (2002) in the midst of being at high school. NBC Friday Night Lights, second season 2007,-2008. After a series of guest appearances on All My Children (including CSI: NY), she was offered a regular role on Noelle Davenport. Kramer then appeared on 90210 as Portia Randson between 2008 and 2009, and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. In 2009 she joined One Tree Hill's ensemble as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until about midway through the last season of One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her get a recording contract from Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary country love song, I Won't Let Go. By the middle of 2012, the song was included in her first full-length album Jana Kramer. This song landed in the Top Country Albums of Billboard's chart within the Top Five. In the following years, she focused her acting career on performing in movies like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016, which was a hit with her fans. Kramer released her sophomore album of her own, Thirty One together with Warner Music Nashville, in October of 2015. I Got the Boy - the album was a Top Five Country hit - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer, in a duet made the album reach the top ten of the Billboard 200. Following a two-month run on the 22nd Dancing with the Stars season, she finished in fourth place. The same year, she had a hit adult contemporary song with Straight No Chaser's Feels like Christmas.
