Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing, and wrestling prior to her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd built on this victory and continued her three-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her adversaries in the very first round of each fight. After that, she went to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and defeated her by an unanimous vote to remove a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission in the second round. Aspen was dominant McGill through her grappling to finish her off with the third round with a TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her at the end of round two via TKO. It was Invicta's FC 21 that she fought her final event for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina using ground and pound to defeat her by TKO during the second round. In her second fight, she beat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd was able to beat Evinger by a punch in the first round and got a Performance of The Night prize. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in an UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put up a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd taking a unanimous win with both fighters claiming an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16 seconds and ended her losing streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya, in the 3rd round on UFC at ESPN 7. In her place, she was able to take on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Dumont was defeated in a unanimous decision.
